ClASSIC CAR PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Introduction
This two day course, over a weekend, and led by acclaimed automotive photographer, Peter Seabrook, will take you step by step through the process or shooting professional quality images of classic cars.

We try to keep the time in the classroom to a minimum but the first morning is really devoted to making sure we have a thorough understanding of the camera, settings, composition , angles and basic lighting before we head out to begin shooting the cars. We split the workshop into 5 parts, the outline of which is explained below

How the days are composed:

  • Part one: Cover the basics of the smartphone features including holding, digital zoom, ISO, aperture, shutter speed, shooting modes and focusing. Some of this is in the classroom and some of this is using the cars.

  • Part two: After a short break to re-fuel, we will discuss automotive story-telling, tricks to create eye-catching compositions, angles, details and how to make the best of whatever lighting situation you find yourself in. The day unfortunately has to come to an end, with a session beginning to explore how to process your images using some free and some paid for apps, ensuring you return home with a variety of images to be proud of

This is a frequently asked question?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
